Come & Try
Passionate About Inspiring Others
Outrigger Canoeing is an exhilarating endurance sport!
It is a great way to keep fit, meet new people, experience Redcliffe's shorelines and participate in an exciting team sport.”
So Come and Try paddling in one of our six-person outrigger canoes, you can have three free paddles over three weeks before committing to membership and we will supply you with a paddle & life-jacket during this trial period, so all you need is a basic level of fitness and the ability to swim, and to bring along sunblock, sun hat, a bottle of water and a great attitude.
Redcliffe Outriggers three training days per week, but to help you get fit, but not enter competition (unless you wish to move up) we have Intermediate days for keen paddlers with some paddling experience whose interest is to get even fitter & hopefully eventually compete for the club in regattas, and we have Squad Training, for experienced paddlers or sportspeople who wish to train hard & compete in Regional, National and International competitions.
Interested in having a go? Then to ensure that both you & the club are insured while you are paddling with us, you will first need to sign an Indemnity Release Form, and email back to the club Secretary – rocccommittee@hotmail.com or you can do this at the training shed Crockatt Park, Woody Point Redcliffe, QLD, Australia 4019 before we get you on the water for a paddle.
Send us your interest below and we will contact you regarding suitable times to Come & Try…
We all look forward to seeing you on the water very soon.
